per standards and report non compliance on daily basis.
ü To perform the
following list of audits and present the analysis as per calendar-

About Research & Development (R&D) Division
R&D division at RIPER is established with a goal to accelerate research in Pharmacy and its allied fields. The two main branches of R&D cell are Center for Pharmaceutical research (CPR) Unit and Pharmacy Education Research Unit (PERU). CPR unit promotes the basic and applied research in pharmaceutical sciences and strengthens Industrial Collaborations and relations. PERU is functioning as annex of R&D unit to conduct research on education through Journal club, implementing novel teaching and learning practices.

Abstract of the Seminar
The seminar focuses on promoting quality research by making the participants to understand research ethics, research methodology & effective execution of research projects for better outcome. The seminar also focuses on some of the critical issues, which pose a bottle neck for young researchers, for successful completion of research projects. It also emphasizes the need for quality in research activities for personal as well as institutional benefit.

Dr. Bontha V. Babu is currently Scientist-F (Senior Grade Deputy Director General) and Head of Health Systems Research (HSR) Division in headquarters of Indian Council of Medical Research, New Delhi. Currently, he is on the World Health Organization (WHO)’s Expert Panel on Parasitic Diseases (Filarial Infections) and WHO/TDR’s Scientific Working Group on Lymphatic Filariasis. He is a public health specialist with PhD in anthropology and post-graduate diploma in applied statistics received from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. His area of interest is community-based interventions for health promotion and disease prevention. He has expertise in disease control programme development & evaluation; cultural epidemiology & ethnography; research & programme management training; health education & communication strategies, etc. Presently, he is involved in funding and management of projects on health systems research. He published about 130 papers in national and international journals, and about a dozen book chapters.

Prof. Dr. David Banji possesses extensive teaching, research and administrative experience. His educational acumen has enabled him to impart sound knowledge & skills to mould tender minds to become fully fledged professionals. He has more than 190 research publications in National and International Pharmaceutical Journals and more than 100 presentations. His recent research work has been published in the most prestigious, high impact factor research journals such as Brain Research, European Journal of Pharmacology, Food Chemistry, Food and Chemical Toxicology, Phytomedicine, Journal of Trace elements in Medicine & Biology, and important National journals such as Indian Journal of Pharmacology, Indian Journal of Experimental Biology etc. He is the resource person for Quality Improvement Programs and faculty Development programs of University Grant Commission and All India Council for Technical Education at various Indian Universities.
Prof. Dr. P. Ramalingam was awarded Doctoral degree (Ph. D) in anti-TB drug design from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. His core research is on new entity discovery for tuberculosis and infectious diseases, in addition he also works on Quality by design (QbD), Stability and Impurity profiling of pharmaceuticals. He has about 15 years of teaching & research experience, published more than 100 publications and holds an Indian patent to his credit. He is currently working as Director (PG studies) at RIPER, Ananthapuramu. He possesses recognition as resource person, moderator, and member in various events and organizations.
